Biography
My name is Adriane Beer and I am a mother, wife, and artist. I love and have always needed to create, and have been doing commissioned artwork for several years. I graduated in 2002 from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art Studies, and went on to teach Art for five years. Over the past ten years, I have been commissioned to create graphite portraits of children, babies, and couples, as well as some graphic design and watercolors. Most notable are a 2002 poster design for the American Heart Association for their "WATCH" campaign geared toward Texas youth, several watercolor landscapes of a Mesa Park commissioned by the city of Frenship in 2008, and most recently a graphic for the National Down Syndrome Society for the t-shirts at their "Buddy Walk" for Central Texas 2013. While I am extremely happy to work with businesses to create images for the public, my heart is definitely more into creating personal keepsakes for people - capturing the emotion, life, and beauty of a loved one or loved location. So far, all of my commissioned work has been done through word of mouth and I am excited to branch out!I plan to be up and running by November 30, 2013, just a few days away.
